Ukrainian Bessarabia is a region located in the south of the Odessa region. Two of its main features are the natural environment and multiculturalism. There coexist peacefully Ukrainians, Bulgarians, Moldovans, Albanians, Jews and many other ethnic groups. Due to this, the cultural diversity of the region was formed there.
Within the framework of Bessarabia ambasada in Lviv musical and dance groups from different parts of the Odessa region will perform, exhibition of different ethnic groups life who live there will host. Lviv residents and visitors can enjoy the Bessarabian cuisine master classes and presentations. The highlight of the culinary part will be duel between hominy and banosh on the Market Square. The concert program, which is running on October 17 Market Square, together with guests Lviv groups will play and sing.
The initiative for the Days of Culture Bessarabia in Lviv belongs to winemaker from Odessa Region, the owner of “Kolonist” TM Ivan Plachkov and Lviv restaurant company Kumpel ‘Group. In organizations of this event Odessa and Lviv Regional State Administration, Lviv City Council and the Club of Galician cuisine take active part.
