Cabernet Merlot “Haut de gamme” LX (2019 harvest) dry aged red category
Wine is produced by the technology of whole berries fermentation in 100-year-old oak vinificators, and aged during 18 months in new French barriques with ceramic firing.
This wine was made in honor of the 60th anniversary of founder of family winery Kolonist Ivan Plachkov.
In May 2019 Cabernet Merlot LX was awarded with honorary "Commended" by the judges of one the most influential competition "International Wine Challenge" which takes place annually in London.
Taste: full, moderately tannic, with creamy and coffee notes, long aftertaste of dried fruits and spices.
Aroma: multifaceted, with pronounced tones of red and black currants, blackberries, with dominant tones of aging (smoke and sapyan), shades of vanilla and coffee.

Description
Wine is produced from grape varieties Cabernet-Sauvignon and Merlot from TM “Kolonist” own plantations.
Wine has complex aroma with dominant tones of maturing (coffee and saffian), cherry, dried fruit and pear notes. It has a harmonic and deep taste with silky tannins and a rich aftertaste.
This wine could be served alone and it will gradually develop in the glass; or perfectly complements meat dishes.
Grapes are grown in Danubian Bessarabia (the south-western part of the Odessa region).
