In his speech during the Security Forum in Kyiv on April 23–24, Prince Harry spoke about what matters most — Ukraine’s sovereignty and democracy.
And in moments like these, you realize: the world sees. The world hears.

That evening, a charity event took place in support of the Invictus Games Foundation.

Background:

The Invictus Games Foundation is a global charity founded in 2014 by Prince Harry. Its main mission is to support wounded, injured, and sick service members and veterans through the power of sport and community.

The foundation organizes and develops the international Invictus Games, where veterans from different countries compete in sports such as athletics, swimming, rowing, wheelchair basketball, and more. But it is not only about sport — it is about recovery, psychological rehabilitation, and returning to an active life.

The name Invictus means “unconquered” in Latin — and this is exactly the idea the foundation carries: even after severe injuries, a person can recover and live a full life.

The atmosphere of the charity evening was created by the very best:

The event was organized by Goodwine, with exquisite cuisine by renowned Ukrainian chef Volodymyr Yaroslavskyi, and Ukrainian wine selected by Olha Hirman, Category Manager for Ukrainian wines at Goodwine.

And that was the moment… a special one.
Prince Harry received a three-liter collectible double magnum of “Kolonist” Cabernet Merlot “Top Gamma” with unique engraving as a gift.
He was genuinely impressed by the Ukrainian origin of the wine and promised to open it after Ukraine’s victory.

Why is this wine unique?

Cabernet Merlot “Top Gamma” is the very wine that took second place in 2013 at an international exhibition in London in the Wine Premier Awards category among young wineries. At that time, Kolonist was only 8 years old. It is also the wine that has repeatedly received awards at the International Wine Challenge in London. And it is the wine that won gold at the Decanter World Wine Awards last year.

Today, Kolonist celebrates 20 years, and we have been producing Cabernet Merlot “Top Gamma” since 2011 using a unique whole-berry fermentation technique in French oak. It is aged exclusively in new French barriques. The grapes come from our own vineyards. 

We are the only producer in Ukraine creating large collectible bottles with engraving on glass.

Just imagine: the wine is produced in a small Bulgarian village in Danube Bessarabia — and this very wine is presented to Prince Harry.
