Dear friends and admirers of the Colonist!

Every year, I, Ivan Plachkov, invite you to our family winery to celebrate with my family and friends the ancient Bulgarian holiday - St. George's Day. This holiday is celebrated on May 6. The Kolonist Winery invites all comers to visit the blossoming spring Pridanaya Bessarabia and plunge into the world of viticulture and winemaking. Celebration will be held from 2 to 9 May in the village. Krinichnoye, Odessa region, at the winery Kolonist.

I will reveal to you the secrets of the unique terroir. We will visit with you at the place where the sun warms the vine with a double beam. You will discover the secrets of barriques for aging wine from a 100-year-old oak tree. You will be surprised by the unique world of local traditions of the multinational Danube Bessarabia. You will get acquainted with the culture and folklore of the Bulgarian colonists. You will enjoy the dishes according to the preserved ancient recipes, which have been prepared for many centuries specially for the celebration of St. George's Day - from the young sacrificial lamb, and also try the unsurpassed Danube herring. And the greatest pleasure for me is to personally treat you to my wines Colonist: we will taste the wine of the 2016 harvest directly from the bottles before bottling, as well as the best vintage wines from the collection of the winery.
